The zerOclassikal project facilitates progressions, experiments and developments of the genre, featuring commissions of new ragas, new interpretations, compositions & improvisations.
It is not often that a musician will just stare at their instrument and ask – what is it? What is it doing to me?
As a young British Asian, this is exactly what Hari Sivanesan has been doing with this ancient instrument of all, known for its beautiful sounds, and one that he has accomplished since a very young age.
