A friendly and peaceful coffee shop to survive the winter in at Bowes Park train station.

I've discovered this cafe which is away from the traffic and noise of Bounds Green, yet it is near the Tube station.

I took these photos last week while I was waiting for a train. I love the way the sunshine beams in on the coffee table and basks the venue in golden light. I've been buying coffee and porridge there for the last year and it is a nice, old fashioned venue set on the single platform of our local, hidden away, Victorian train station, Bowes Park, at the end of Myddleton Road, N22 4NT.

It's open till 4pm every day and I recommend it to everyone who wants a peaceful hot drink and food during the day. Or somewhere interesting to meet friends at.  It opens early in the morning to serve the commuters heading into London.

It's called Leafy Bean and it's owned and managed by staff who take a lot of care over the service and catering. Its a real gem and we are lucky to have an authentic and comfortable cafe in our community.
