From the evening of 7 October at 20:00 to the morning of 10 October at 05:00 the central section of the A406 / Green Lanes junction will be closed to facilitate resurfacing of the junction. This work will prohibit Green Lanes North and South traffic movement across the junction over the weekend period.

During the closure there will be fully signed diversion routes in place for the planned closures. A pedestrian route across the A406 junction between North and South Green Lanes will be maintained throughout the entire works period.

Traffic will be maintained on the A406 on both the East and West bound carriageways. Right turn movements from the A406 into Green Lanes from both East and West bound directions will also continue to be prohibited during the overall resurfacing works.

Please be aware that the junction at Powys Lane and the A406 Bowes Road has now been re-opened to all traffic.

To ensure these works are completed as efficiently as possible and to keep disruption to a minimum, Skanska plans to work during the evening between 8pm and 6am with noisy work being completed before 23:59 each evening.

During the weekend closure from the evening of 7 October at 20:00 to the morning of 10 October at 05:00 we will be working continuously,whenever possible, to complete the works.

Skanska will also be working at the other weekends between 27 September and 17 October during off peak hours from late Friday evening through to early Monday morning through the works period.

During the weekend of 8 & 9 October the Skanska community information centre, located at 84 Bowes Road, N13 4NP, will be staffed between 08:30 and 17:30 to deal with any queries or concerns. You can drop into the information centre or call the UK-based Customer Care Team on 0800 066 5006.
