Alexandra Palace gets the Green Light from the Heritage Lottery Fund

Congratulations go to The Alexandra Park and Palace Trust after the Heritage Lottery Fund has approved their bid for £18.8 million pounds to restore and re-invigorate the East Wing of the Palace. This will create a working Theatre, an area showcasing Television past and present and much more.

Congratulations to all involved who had made this happen.  I am sure it has been a long hard slog which at times must have been very dispiriting.  A wonderful achievement.  I hope the 'pops' I can hear are corks being pulled from many bottles.  Such a boost to the area.
