Another warning
Sorry to say that a 17-year-old local girl was randomly attacked late on Friday night by a man who followed her off the 102 bus when she got off just past Bounds Green Tube and tried to drag her down Maidstone Road. When she struggled and screamed, he hit her several times before a passer by stopped and the man ran off. The attack happened at 1am. She was understandably shaken but is otherwise ok. Police are treating it as attempted abduction. Please everyone stay alert.

This is all very worrying news. I have found some self defense classes at ally pally and have asked them to send me details as I've thought about doing this before, but now find it necessary in view od the recent attacks.
