Hi there all

Just moved to Bowes Park (Cheshire Road) and feeling a bit at sea. Would be nice to make local contacts, even virtual ones. Also can anyone advise the best route for teens going to and from Crouch End on public transport?

Thanks so much

Hi Tammy! Welcome to Bowes Park.

A few of us are going to the talk at The Step tonight if you wanted to meet some local people - see here: http://www.bowesandbounds.org/events/discovering-london-talk-4

Hi Tammy I'll be there too tonight - as well as Petes Discovering London talk there is a launch event for a new exhibition by a local artist - so should be some interesting creative locals to chat to.

Also my eldest daughter has just begun venturing out on local buses unaccompanied - I'd be happy to share info (offline).

Hi Richard and Linsey, thanks so much for replying. Unfortunately I can't make it tonight but hopefully there'll be other opportunities to meet people. I've been to the Step and it's lovely!

Dear Tammy,

I have lived in the area for some time and run the Community Garden in Myddleton Road and am also organising a Barn Dance for the Communtiy Assoc on 16 March.

best wishes,

Sarah Harris
