My recommendation is Colin of Home Maintenance Services. He's done some work for me at home in Bounds Green and I've given him jobs at work in Kentish Town as well. Very reliable, he always does a good job and doesn't charge a fortune. His mobile number is 07956 956325.

Hello Diana, I am a handyman. If you'd like to call me please do so on 0793 3244988. My rates are competetive and since I'm local you can rely on a prompt response.  As well as odd jobs i can assist with carpentry, plumbing, electrics and all sorts of general repair as well as decorating.

Thanks for the prompt reply. Good you have things sorted but please keep my number for future reference. I'm a recently made redundant accountant and previously an aircraft engineer who over years of working for family and friends has had first hand experience of what sometimes passes for tradework these days, by contrast I'm eager to please, offer fair rates and take pride in my work.

Handy person required to re fix upright shower poles back into ceiling . I've tried the numbers shown below for Colin and Edward but no reply yet. Are there any more handy people out there who could help me out, ideally today or tomo please?

I've gaping holes in the ceiling now and shower curtain is just held up by two side connections.

I just wanted to let you know that I contacted Colin today and he told me he moved out of London a couple of months ago. He said he had tried to have his name removed from the forum but it has not happened yet.
