Ash Trees and Elm Trees
The recent news stories about diseased ash trees across the UK, reminded me of this old photographof Broomfield Park from 1971.
It shows a wide avenue of elm trees sweeping down towards Broomfield House - sadly both elements of the image now lost - the trees to Dutch Elm Disease and the House to fire.
