One of the most important issues facing Bowes is traffic and pollution.  Please see below a link to a campaign run by a charity, the London Cycling Campaign.  Entering your name and postcode on the website (details will not be shared with third parties), generates an automatic email to your local council election parties, asking them to consider a Liveable Neighbourhoods application for Bowes and Bounds Green.  Please customise the email to let them know you specifically want investment in Bowes Ward.

Getting the funding to make the changes would likely depend on Enfield Council making a successful 'Liveable Neighbourhoods' application. Once the community gets behind the concept we can work with the council to secure the money for Bowes and get a great design implemented for the area.

This money is earmarked each year by Transport for London (until it runs out!). Communities across London are receiving this cash to make their areas less polluted, less full of rat-running traffic, more active and more pedestrian/cycle/walking friendly; they're doing this by working with their council and neighbours to make a Liveable Neighbourhoods application in order to bring about change
