I came across this very interesting and worthwhile shop recently.

They are a charity / community group who support  people with disabilities.

Donated old bikes  are rebuilt/ serviced by trainee bike mechanics some of whom have disabilities.  The bikes are sold at very reasonable prices.

I had a chat with the professional mechanic,  he said they also repair and service bikes and they have a cafe so you can relax while you wait.

Some of the funds are used to buy  special designed bikes for people with disabilities.

I didn't note the number of the shop but it was almost opposite the Tesco Metro .   Tel no  0208 8881005

Please support the shop by ...donating any old bikes / buying a used (serviced) bike  / having your bike serviced.
