Details from Transport for London about roadworks in the Bounds Green area.

Transport for London (TfL) is writing to make you aware of the upcoming planned resurfacing works at the Powys Lane / Brownlow Road / Bowes Road junction. These night time works are part of the Bounds Green project which will be completed in Spring 2012.

The resurfacing works will commence on Monday 5 December 2011 and will last for up to 10 nights. Working hours will be 20:00 – 05:00 with the exception of Fridays, where the working hours will be 21:00 – 05:00. The works will take place during Monday to Friday only.

The following traffic management will be in place during the working hours:

Monday 5 December – Friday 9 December 2011

• Brownlow Road closed to all traffic
• Central reserve closed to all traffic
• Natal Road closed to all traffic
• A406 reduced to one lane in each direction
• Pedestrian crossing closed; pedestrians directed to use the crossing facilities at Warwick Road

Monday 12 December 2011 – Friday 16 December 2011

• Brownlow Road closed to all traffic
• Powys Lane closed to all traffic
• Natal Road closed to all traffic
• Central reserve closed to all traffic
• A406 reduced to one lane in each direction
• Pedestrian crossing closed; pedestrians directed to use the crossing facilities at Warwick Road

All diversions will be clearly signposted locally.

As with all works on the Transport for London Road Network, we must balance possible disruption to residents with disruption to traffic. Working at night provides us with the best chance to complete these works as quickly as possible with as little disruption as possible.
