Congratulations to the Headteacher, Staff, Governors and pupils at Bounds Green Infant school who have this month announced the results of their latest OFSTED report.

The school was rated "Good" overall and inspectors were very impressed by pupils' behaviour which they rated "outstanding".

In a statement on the LB Haringey website Bounds Green Headteacher, Will Wawn, said:

“The report shows consistency with our Junior School Ofsted report [published in January this year ]that was also judged as ‘good’ with outstanding features and is testimony to the hard work and commitment of our staff, the unceasing support from parents and families – and most importantly – the fantastic children we have at Bounds Green.

“The report, quite rightly, highly commends the children in terms of their behaviour and attitudes at the end of a long, hot and tiring academic year and this ‘outstanding’ judgement is a credit to them.”

Another of our local schools, Tottenhall Infants, had an OFSTED inspection this week - the results of which will be published shortly - we wish them well.
