Congratulations to children from Bounds Green School who have had their drawings selected for inclusion in a LB Haringey road safety leaflet, seven of their designs making the final version.

Junior Road Safety Officers from Bounds Green School recently attended a special celebration at Haringey Civic Centre along with JRSOs from and St Paul’s and All Hallows School in Tottenham. The children participated in workshops and delivered presentations on their safety poster designs.

The schools are participating in the Junior Road Safety Officer scheme run by the council's Smarter Travel team and were asked to come up with designs to encourage safe and sensible use of the roads, by pedestrians cyclists and motorists.

The designs have now been incorporated into a Road Safety leaflet to be shared across the borough – and handed out at all Haringey schools this term.
