Do you recognise the location in this poster?  The photograph shows the approach to Bowes Park station from the Myddleton Road side. It's a poster for a new production by Albion Theatre Company.

Bowes Park based Elliot Brown is artistic director of Albion - a theatre company formed at Wood Green's Mountview Academy of Theatre. The Albion Company's creative team is formed of a group of Mountview graduates.

Albion Company are to take their new play RED TAP/BLUE TIGER to the Edinburgh Fringe this summer in a co-production with Greenwich Theatre.

RED TAP/BLUE TIGER is written by Richard Vincent, a regular teacher and director at Mountivew. It follows Norton, who on the day of his 21st birthday finds out the abusive father he's lived with all of his life is not his biological father. RED TAP/BLUE TIGER is a black comedy about fatherhood, growing up and smoky bacon crisps.

The production will run at Edinburgh's Assembly Roxy for the duration of the Festival 31 July - 25 August.

Albion will be presenting an exclusive London preview of the play on Saturday 26th July, 8pm at The Greenwich Theatre.

Funding for the show has come in part from a special commendation by the Scottish Daily Mail Awards, enabling the company to take shows to Edinburgh Fringe.
