There is a building for rent in Clarence Road.  It faces Finsbury Gardens (on the West? side of Truro Road)  The Rent is £30,000 per year.

How about an Arts Centre  with a Studio Theatre and Cafe in our midst?  If 100 people were prepared to donate £6.0 per week we could cover the rent for a year.  If £200 people did the same we could cover start-up costs and have some to spare.

I know it seems impossible but have a large number of people who work in the Arts in our neighbourhood.  There are musicians, actors, artists,  writers and a poet within the Bowes Park Area.  I just wonder if we have the collective will, energy, talent and enthusiasm to start up a wonderful new asset in our community.  The Arcola theatre went from nothing to cutting edge in eleven years.  Could we get a vibrant Centre up and running?  If you have expertise and/or are enthusiastic about such a possibility could you contact me either through Bowes & Bounds or email katefranzmann@tiscali.co.uk or if you wish to talk about exploring the matter further ring me on 0208 888 1689
