Hi

I am looking at getting the rear windows of my ground floor flat replaced with double glazing.  The flat falls within the Bowes Park Conservation Area so apparently I need planning permission although most of the surrounding house already seem to have double glazing!  The windows aren't the originals (except the front sash which I wouldn't want to change) but are wood and single paned.

Does anyone have experience of applying re changing windows, and have any tips about the process and timeframe?
