A a very thoughtfuland neighbourly message arrived via Twitter from Grumpy Tortoise
"If anyone is missing a tabby cat in the Myddleton Rd area please can they get in touch. We've taken one to the vet that was knocked over on Northbrook Rd at about 5pm Thursday 29th ."

The cat has been claimed, he is still very poorly but at least has his family back.
