Bowes Ward to move from Enfield to Haringay - Boundary Commission Recommendation

I've seen that from today's Boundary Commission for England Report, they have recommended that the Bowes Ward many of us live in should move from Enfield to Haringay in time for the 2020 General Election.

There's now a 12-week consultation for feedback on the proposals.

I'm not sure how I feel on this; many of us feel this a forgotten part of the Enfield borough currently, but I know that Council Tax bills are higher in our potential new home...but you do get your bulky items moved for free :)

I have little knowledge on how other find living the LB Haringay experience, so I'd be interested to know other's thoughts on this.

I'm sure others will correct me on this if I'm wrong but I had understood that this proposal was just for Parliamentary Constituency boundaries not Local Authority boundaries. So Bowes Ward would move to the Hornsey and Wood Green consituency but would still remain under Enfield as its Local Authority.
I think you may be right... Now where's that recipe for Humble Pie...?

It is Parliamentary Constituency Boundaries that are proposed to be changed Nev, but this is still a relevant issue to raise and discuss.  Are people comfortable with the proposed changes?  Do we feel informed enough about what is being proposed?
