As users may have seen in the National Press, British Gas will be changing its gas tariffs on 16th March 2016.

The many Gas users on quarterly billing (or monthly direct debit) need to take steps to ensure that they do not become inadvertently overcharged by the way utility billing  operates by dividing billing periods and estimating the gas usage.

In most instances, it can be useful to provide a customer meter reading to the gas utility which they can use to apportion the bill and gas usage between the higher and lower prices
