Hello. I wonder if anyone can help? I'm purchasing a property on Broomfield Road and at the last minute when we are about to exchange, have been made aware that the road is not adopted by Enfield Council. Should I be worried, or have any residents heard that the council might adopt it in the future after the new houses and flats are built? My solicitor has put the fear of god in me that myself and the other residents could be asked by the council in the future to pay the costs to bring it up to an adoption standard ourselves.
