My car was broken into recently (Russell Road).  They'd gone through the glove box but I don't keep anything in there apart from an ice scraper!  But a neighbour had his van stolen a couple of weeks back - plus his tools for his livelihood -  and my son's motorbike was stolen the other night, so everyone should be as careful as they can.  This time last year, as soon as the evenings started getting darker, I was burgled and also caught someone inspecting my front door as I came home from walking the dog one night.  I gave him a bit of a shock (have a large dog!)  I've been in touch recently with our neighbourhood police team.

We had some items stolen from our car on Whittington Road last week - I very stupidly forgot to lock it - but it shows you that there are people on the look out for an opportunity.
