Regretfully, this post is to share the sad news that the amazing Cathy Herman has passed away. Cathy was one of the original founders of the Bowes Park Community Association (BPCA) back in 1999, when the association was formed to address the decline of Myddleton Road and the surrounding area.  It is no overstatement to say Bowes Park would not be what it is today without the huge contribution Cathy made to the community.
 
The BPCA are raising funds for a memorial bench and plaque in Cathy’s honour. It will be placed in one of our lovely gardens, which exist because Cathy played a pivotal role in their establishment.
