Hi Tara, I don't think Maidstone Road would be liable for Chancel repairs, they apply to prereformation churches and I don't think we have any near us, plus I think most of our area was built on farm land.

When I asked which church this was about. I received the following reply:

On the chancel searches that are carried out, the specific church that the potential liability is connected to is not revealed.  Sometimes it may be that the church is miles away from the properties which fall within the parish which continues to have a potential chancel repair liability.
