A Community Network for Bowes Park and Bounds Green
Sadly the organisers of Palmers Green's "Market N13" have said there will be no further Sunday markets at The Palmers Green station site. They annonced "Customer numbers have dwindled and traders have found themselves unable to continue with stalls we have come to the end of the line.
Market organiser, Annita thanked all those who have helped and supported the market and invited customers to drop in to her cafe on Platform One at Palmers Green Station for a coffee and a chat.

This is a shame; we were looking forward to going to this market at some point, having moved to the Bounds Green recently and being still exploring the area we only came across it recently. I doubt that it being midwinter helps with customer numbers...
Are there any other markets in the local area?
Adjoining Winchmore Hill Station The Sidings N21 is a bespoke farmers’ market that is open every Sunday 9am – 2pm. The Sidings N21 hosts a variety of traders supplying quality produce that you can’t find in your average supermarket. Our traders offer the freshest local food. Come and meet the farmers, fishermen, bakers, butchers, chefs, restaurateurs, growers and enthusiastic local cooks who share a passion for locally sourced and sustainable produce.
The Sidings N21 site is situated in the middle of the village is surrounded by interesting churches, shops, coffee bars, restaurants and pubs.
Bus Route 299 from Muswell Hill operates daily to Southgate LUL to connect to Bus Route w9 which operates every 30 minutes between Southgate LUL and Enfield Town and stopping in the middle of the village. The Sidings N21 is next to the rail station from Bowes Park....yeh but not to be relied upon. If it is not network rail works GTR operators decide to next the day off (the duties are voluntary.....it is a long story
