Enfield Council have just announced the launch of twelve £500 grants to community groups wishing to set up a community garden, grow their own food, organise cookery sessions and training sessions for young people, amongst other activities.

If the idea sounds appealing, send the application form (linked here) to ella.goschalk@enfield.gov.uk; bear in mind that proof of your organisation (e.g. constitution, audited accounts, or a reference) may be asked from you.

Deeadline for applications is Friday 13th February.

Your proposal should address the following aspects…

  • Benefit to the community and fair distribution across the borough
  • Sustainability after initial funding
  • Value for money
