As recommendations for these services are a bit limited, I thought I'd confirm that Marek (mentioned in another posting on here), is excellent.  

Although mentioned on here as a Mac specialist, he's also expert in Microsoft.  I had a laptop crash last week - he arrived within hours, saved several day's work (which I stupidly hadn't backed up), took my laptop away and returned it the next day, with a new hard drive.  He helped me re-install all my settings and was very calm and patient.  I thought his prices were more than reasonable, too.
