Consultation on changes to trains at Bowes Park
Some Great Northern services will be transferred to Thameslink in 2018 and there is a consultation about services which closes in December. Bowes Park station will be affected with fewer trains during the morning peak time and the Bowes Park Community Association (BPCA) would like to:
a) Draw your attention to the consultation documents so that you have the opportunity to respond – deadline for individual responses: 5pm on Thursday 8 December 2016.
b) Ask you to complete a short survey so that the BPCA can give a group response on behalf of our residents – deadline for your response to our survey: 7pm on Sunday 4 December (because we need to analyse your answers and put forward our response).

The contract is remaining the same, GTRailway is implementing its promises to Department of Transport

Govia's Phil Hutchinson, Head of Strategic Planning and Stuart Cheshire, Route Planning Director will attend.The meeting is ostensibly to hear, learn and make make representations on the proposed reduction of services at Grange Park.
The principles adopted by GTR at Bowes Park will be similar- speed up services for longer distance passengers!
iT IS A PUBLIC MEETING and BPCA may learn of arguments to submit in their own representations
