A Community Network for Bowes Park and Bounds Green
The consultation which supports CPZ in Melbourne was submitted to the council, but more voices and action is needed. I wonder if other roads have also completed consultations? does anyone know? the difficulty in parking dues to commuters and vans being left increases. I heard that Haringey plans to extend the CPZ in Bowes Park/bounds green? does anyone know anything about this? it would be good if Haringey and Enfield could work together on this. Haringey's plans will effect us who live on their borders.

Linda, I'm interested to know how the CPZ process for Melbourne, Belsize etc. Are the applications co-ordinated in any way and what's the timescale for a response? Is the council minded to approve them. I agree it would be hugely beneficial if Haringey and Enfield were co-ordinated on this as CPZs have such knock-on effects on neighbouring streets.
CPZ is on the agenda at the bowes ward councillor public meeting tomorrow, Tuesday 30th jan at trinity at bowes church, Palmerston rd @7.30pm
Hi Linda, thanks for responding. Yes I hope to attend the meeting tomorrow, it sounds like the agenda will be interesting (although a lot of issues are split into bite-size chunks!). If you do have any further info to share that would be great and I'm also keen to hear tomorrow whether Enfield Council has a joined-up strategy.
