The Enfield Advertiser published a report at READ HERE LINK (16th December) 

“However, there is still a lot to do. The task now is to ensure that the improvements we have seen are sustained and built on for the future.”

A review of medical training in the troubled A&E department, one of the busiest in London, on December 2, carried out by Health Education England and the General Medical Council, noted that trainee doctors were “consistently positive” and that all trainees would now recommend their posts to a friend, an “extraordinary improvement” from their previous visit in March 2016.

Chief executive (Elizabeth) Libby McManus, who joined the trust in July, said: " “Staff should be proud of the work they are doing yet conscious of and committed to the further improvements needed to ensure our patients get the very best.

“We want our patients and the local community to know that they can have renewed trust and confidence in the hospital’s services.”

However, Christine commented: 

The waiting area being used as a homeless shelter and drunken meet up point seriously needs to be tackled
