Like many small local businesses, this year has been particularly challenging for us. Despite the spike in our members at the beginning of the pandemic, we are now taking a hit due to people moving out of the area and, understandably, tightening purse strings. But we're still hanging on and hoping to capture some hearts in Bounds Green and get more folks excited about organic, seasonal veggies!
We have just set up a new collection point on Myddleton Road. You'll find our little purple shed in the far left hand corner of the outdoor gym space, just opposite the Community Garden.
What do we do?
We are Haringey's organic not-for-profit veg scheme. We offer a weekly or fortnightly bag of tasty, seasonal produce grown by smallscale, organic, regenerative farmers, sourced as close to London as possible (we grow some ourselves at Wolves Lane!). We pack your produce in returnable and reusable bags. Most of our produce is loose, and the small amount of packaging we send out is either recyclable or compostable and can be returned to us with your bags. Alongside our veg scheme we run a #FoodForAll project which cooks and delivers free meals around the borough using local organic and surplus produce.
When is the delivery day?
We'll be delivering here on Wednesday afternoons.
