Did You grow up in Edmonton? ...or near Enfield Island Village?

Do You have a memory to share?

‘The People’s Story’ is an innovative local arts project for the people of Enfield and Edmonton. The Project will offer people a variety of different ways to get involved, capturing everyone's imagination. There will be reminiscence workshops, personal interviews, an exhibition, a large-scale intergenerational reminiscence theatre production, and a documentary of the whole project, to be premiered at The British Film Institute, Southbank.

The first stage is all about encouraging the whole community to take part, to enjoy the activities on offer, and to begin the process of sharing memories, experience, and cultural stories and song.

The project is run by Age Exchange recognised as the leading UK charity working in the field of reminiscence. For further information on the project visit www.peoples-story.co.uk where you can contribute your memories to the project blog.
