This is completely depressing. Can't we have a pay it forward policy introduced in local cafes and restaurants? I'm sure lots of us would happily pay for kids to have a hot meal.

I am sorry Sureka but W£m Morrison was the only LOCAL scheme I know.......

Very much not LOCAL are 

• the Coffee Shop Initiative initiated by Black Sheep Coffee
