Howard Jacobson, the award-winning novelist, recently said that his attention was "shot" for reading books thanks to mobile phones and social media. Does anyone else struggle to find the time, patience and attention to read books these days?

I'm planning to take a week of annual leave to catch up on reading for pleasure and I'm writing about it for the Daily Telegraph. If anyone would like to share their thoughts, or experiences of similar, for inclusion, then I'd be really interested to hear them! Comments can be anonymised as you wish.

And if anyone is interested in starting a book club, let me know!
