I was delighted this morning to see a lady laying a beautiful design with plants in the triangular bed at the corner of Durnsford Road and Rhys Avenue. She asked the Council for permission to do this and has purchased all the plants at her own expense. It is something quite unique in this area and replaces a bed of overgrown trees and shrubs that were dug up a few months ago by the Council, leaving just a rather scruffy bare patch.

This shows true Community Spirit and will please a large number of people at this very busy junction.

It would be nice to show some photographs when her project is complete.

I noticed this beautiful display yesterday. It really is a welcome sight and enhances the area. I hope that it is not destroyed/ vandalised. Huge thanks to whoever did this- you are amazing x
