I know there has always been a problem at the end of the canal with men stood drinking cans of beer so a large black bin is there now to collect all the rubbish, buts its the drinking on Myddleton road that I'm worried about now, as there seems to be more and more people stood around, can in hand chatting on the main road.

Is there any law to stop drinking on local roads?

I worry about this new trend and not sure why so many Eastern Europeans now seem attracted to Bowes Park.

Drinking in an on the street is increasingly becoming a problem, it really makes Mydleton Road feel like an intimidating place but as far I am aware they are not breaking the law.

I also took my grand kids to play on the ping pong table last week but we couldn't because there was a gang of yobs drinking from cans and sitting on the tahe table and with a very dangerous looking dog with them and they seemed to find funny to be whipping it up in to a frenzy. I wanted to stand up to them because we mustn't be intimidated but with my two young kids with me I didn't want to create a scene in front of them so reported it to safer neighbourhoods who promised to investigate. The gym and ping pong is a brilliant community facility but is currently being abused by people  who have nothing positive to contribute to the area.
