Are there are road names or other associations with elm trees in Bowes and Bounds?

I can only think of the elm pipes used in the New River.

Only asking because the Conservation Foundation project Ulmus Londinium offers free elm saplings to communities associated with elms as a way of reintroducing them where they should be.

What a great project - there is an Elm Park Road up in Winchmore Hill- but I don't know of any "Elm street names on "our patch", although Broomfield Park apparently had a grand avenue of elms sweeping down to the old House (pre-fire!) as this photograph from 1971 depicts.

Perhaps the Friends of Broomfield Park might be interested?

What a wonderful photo! Have you got a contact for the Friends that you can email me, Richard? Thanks
