Dear all,

Here's a link to Thames21’s recent report into the state of the rivers in the Lower Lea Valley.

We commissioned an environmental consultant to carry out the testing.

It shows that the rivers in Enfield are polluted and need lots of TLC, which we want to provide all with all those in Enfield who also care about their rivers.

We've got clean up events planned and we want to convene a meeting to develop an Enfield specific response to the problem, with local people working closely with Thames21, the council and the Environment Agency etc.

This could see the Borough be the leading edge in developing solutions to river pollution in London.

Kind regards,

Aimee
