The parking of a motor vehicle on the public highway with a "For Sale" notice displayed in one or more windows  is a Trading Offence in the London Borough of Enfield

The vehicle for which an offence is being alleged may be reported at https://forms.enfield.gov.uk/eforms/eform_WASTE/20_location.aspx

From the Enfield Independent:

A host of cars have been seized after a trader was accused of illegally street trading vehicles (without a trading licence)

If prosecuted, convicted street traders can expect a fine of up to £1,000, plus costs to cover the removal and storage of the seized vehicles.

Enfield council’s cabinet member for environment Councillor Daniel Anderson has issued a warning to people dealing in cars illegally.

He said: “We are cracking down on illegal street trading. They are harming the legitimate car traders, taking up residents’ parking spaces, and there is also the threat posed by the sale of potentially unsafe vehicles.

“Although it can be difficult to track down the people responsible for this blight on our streets our officers are determined to find those responsible and tackle the problem of illegal street trading in this borough.”
