CEO David Brown banked £2.163 million, despite Southeastern, Thameslink and Great Northern being worst operators
THE boss of Britain’s worst-performing train company has been awarded a £2.1million pay package.
The deal for Go-Ahead chief executive David Brown was last night branded “a disgrace”.
Accounts show the payout, including salary, bonuses and incentives, rising 10.4 per cent from 2014.
It comes despite three Go-Ahead franchises — Govia Thameslink Railway, Southeastern and Great Northern — being voted the UK’s worst.
The group had the most delays — 62,000 — caused by lack of staff.
