This message has been forwarded by Julia Mountain it identifies another way we can all shop locally this Christmas with vegetables and meat from Forty Hall Farm in Enfield.

Forty Hall Farm sells boxes of organic meat from time to time and some is available now. The animals have a jolly life outside in natural social groups before being slaughtered
and butchered and the meat hung for 28 days.

Each beef box costs £100 and contains 1/16th of the edible parts of a cow. Collection is from
Forty Hall Farm (in the grounds of Forty Hall). Each box contains various vacuum packed labelled cuts e.g. steaks, roasting joints, casserole pieces, mince. It is a complete bargain compared with the cost of buying organic meat off the shelf.

The person to contact is Kate McGeevor on kate.mcgeevor@capel.ac.uk Do please pass this around - there isn't a constant supply of beef so it's the last chance this year to buy any of this gorgeously delicious meat. I went halves on a box a few weeks ago and can confirm that it
is excellent quality.
