What a beautiful day.  Four local people  - the Finsbury Diggers - spent the afternoon weeding the beds around Finsbury Gardens.  We were joined by a local councillor, Ali Demirci, who was out and about leafleting. When we had finished we had a late lunch together.  Many people stopped and thanked us for keeping the beds looking so nice and we had a really nice afternoon.  But it would be wonderful if more people could help out,  either by joining us on the first Sunday of the month 1 - 3.30ish, for all or part of the time, or just by going and doing a little weeding when you have a spare moment.  We never have enough helpers to get all the beds looking good at the same time and if we had eight or ten regulars we could make the area look even better.  Looking forward to meeting you!
