Hi

I've just moved to a new house & I've got a couple of old sheds if anyone wants them. They've been dismantled to make way for a new one. They measure approximately 176cm by 114cm. The previous owners had joined them together so 2 of the side panels have doorways cut into them! Some of the pieces are in pretty poor condition due to the weather and age but some parts could be used again, such as the doors. I thought it would be ideal for an allotment. I'm more than happy for you to take whatever bits you want before I arrange for the council to take them away to the dump. I live on Durnsford Road. Let me know if you’re interested.

Regards

Hi Steve

If you don't get a response you can offer the sheds on Freegle - ilovefreegle.org is a not for profit recycling/reuse UK online based forum where members can offer or request just about anything so long as its free and legal - Freegle means 'Free Giving Locally Easily' and has only one goal 'To Stop Good Stuff Going to Landfill' and in doing that support our local communities. Freegle is run entirely online by over a thousand unpaid dedicated volunteers running 345 groups and more than 1.3 million members (And counting) Offering things they no longer want and getting what they do completely free of charge.

Members can even offer broken white or electrical goods, someone will be able to fix and use them or use them for spares or repair - Either way it saves you money since it can cost around £25 for your local council to send them to landfill and save you time since any member wanting the item will come at your convenience to pick it up, you can then either request another washing machine/DVD player for instance and when they break down put them up and get another, you never have to buy them again if you choose. Freegle also actively encourages Schools, Clubs, Community Groups, Hostels, Safe Houses, Scouts and many many more who can post for resources free of charge. Go to the ilovefreegle.org website where you'll find a 'Find a Group' link, plug in your area or postcode and it will bring up all of the groups in your area. Choose the group you'd like to join register (You'll need a Yahoo ID since they provide our websites via Yahoo Groups)
