The Great Northern rail services between Hertford North and Bowes Park was severely disrupted this morning owing to overhead line damage at Welwyn North. Following the usual" tradition" in these circusmatnces East Coast trains were being diverted via the Hertford Loop and running up to 60 minutes late

Network Rail are currently claiming that at 14:10 on 3rd November the Hertford Loop services are now only suffering minimal disruption
