The incident was being reported at about 09:50 with all lines blocked to facilitate emergency access with BTP in charge at 10:10. From approximately 10:12 East Coast Main Line trains were being diverted via Hertford North giving ECML trains an extended journey of 40 minutes
Two lines re=opened at 11:11 All lines reopened at 13:53. Normal running expected for tonight's rush hour
