Local communities around the country have sprung into action following the government's decision not to help people struggling to provide lunches over half term for their children. Bowes and Bounds is no different and we wanted to let you know about our local initiatives.

Thank you to everyone for their support, this is a wonderfully kind and generous community!

Also, a reminder about the Winter Coat Drive!

Winter Coat Drive | Donating and receiving

Bounds Green Food Bank is holding a Winter Coat collection, with the aim of ensuring that nobody in our community goes cold this winter! The drive has received a huge response so far and donations continue to be welcomed through until the end of October. If you have any new or lightly used coats you can drop them to 26 Durnsford Road or 9 Edith Road.

Also, if you or anybody else you know in our community is in need of a winter coat, please visit the Food Bank at St Michael’s Hall during these times:
2 November 18:00 - 20:00
3 November 14:00 - 16:00
5 November 14:00 - 16:00

You don't need to book, just come along on the day.
