I've recently moved house, and discovered the cables connecting the TV to the aerial have been cut. My landlord has refused to re-connect them. I know Sky/BT/Virgin will reconnect them, but I really only watch Freeview.

Does anyone know a handyman (with a big ladder!) who would be willing to re-connect the cables from the top floor flat to the aerial on the roof?

Many thanks

Where has the cable been cut? If you can reach the end that goes to the roof aerial, it's trivially easy to fit a new coaxial (i.e. for aerial cable) socket and then you can just plug the TV-end of the cable to it (with a new coaxial plug of its own, if necessary). If the connection is outside, some self-amalgamating tape (available from electrical suppliers) can be used to weatherproof it.

Unfortunately, I can't even see the cord on the roof- if there is still one! The cord has been cut from the window with the cables on the interior of the house. I need a handyman with a ladder to access the aerial and reconnect the cables. Anybody know any recommendations?
