Enfield Council has begun a consultation process to guide the future development of the Southgate Town Hall site including Palmers Green Library.

The plan is now to refurbish the library on its current site (not move it to Palmers Green High Street as proposed under the previous administration) and make the rest of the site available for redevelopment

The results of the consultation will inform guide future development of the buildings, as well as desicions on planning applications affecting the site.

You can view the Draft Planning Brief online at a dedicated section of the Enfield Website and see printed copies from Palmers Green Library. There will also be events including "On Your Doorstep" at Broomfield Park on Friday 5th and Saturday 6th August, an exhibition at Palmers Green Library on Saturday August 20th 10:00-4:00pm and at the Enfield show on the weekend of September 3rd and 4th.
