Hello all - In Hornsey Town Hall, local artist Daniella Bowyer is inviting people of all ages to take part in free fortnightly workshops (Sat/Sun) to transform waste textiles into a huge river of colour, pattern and texture. The final art piece will be installed to flow through this landmark building symbolising fashion’s river of surplus and waste which usually goes unseen by the consumer. You can read an article about it via the Huffington Post here http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/leigh-mcalea/art-installation-stitc...

Anyone can attend (adults / kids), any skill level, and stay for as long or as little as you wish. Hope to see you there. Fortnightly workshops are drop-in, completely free and held at Hornsey Town Hall, The Broadway, Crouch End, N8 9JJ. 11 - 4pm on Sat 24 and Sun 25 October; Sat 7 and Sun 8 November; Sat 21 and Sun 22 November; Sat 5 and Sun 6 December.
