The response from our area to the previous appeal was so great that at the end of January a second trip will be made  to the Calais warehouse to take the things that didn't make it first time, with room for more.

The police search out the refugees whilst they sleep in the forest to take away their clothes, shoes and blankets before pepper spraying and smashing their phones. Help Refugees and L’Auberge des Migrants distribute one item a day such as socks, sleeping bags or hats, and to avoid conflict and violent disputes between the refugees, they only hold distributions once they have enough for everyone to receive an item each. Currently, they are helping over 700 people every day.

There is quite a lot of dried food and water stockpiled in Muswell Hill, but other things from the Help Refugees needs list (do note the list of things not currently needed at the bottom) and and the Refugee Kitchen needs list would be welcome.

Additionally, any help towards the funding of the journey and rental of the van would be much appreciated.  https://gogetfunding.com/january-donations-drive-to-calais/
