At the annual conference of the London and Middlesex Archaeological Society (LAMAS) held at the Museum of London on Saturday 18th November, HHS won the award for the best London local history society Newsletter of 2016.

This is a new category and our winning entry, the December 2016 edition, was chosen for its interesting mix of reports on different aspects of the society’s work including membership and conservation and for the articles on a range of local history subjects written by our members.
